Who may use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old to use Dear Self Care. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs on your account.
Acceptable use
Please see our Community Guidelines. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users or Sharnell.
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringing.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or private content.
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service.
- Use Dear Self Care to provide medical, mental health, or crisis services to others.
Not medical advice
Dear Self Care is a wellness product. It does not provide medical, psychological, or mental health care. See our Medical Disclaimer.
User content
You retain ownership of the content you create (journal entries, messages, uploaded files). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dear Self Care is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
